Playful and lovely are the coral designs created by a hand altered stencil often chosen by the artist to create design and textural elements.
Image found in scrapbook kept but the artist’s grandfather, Benjamin McMurry. Photo depicts a couple perched atop a fallen tree which is suspended horizontally several feet over the ground. McMurry later cofounded Barber and McMurry Architects in Knoxville, TN.
